Following on from a fabulous Anna Ash show last year, we’re programming a full season of top touring Americana talent.

Brooklyn-based singer songwriter Annie Keating comes here on April 10th as part of her full European tour. Annie will be playing her sublime alt-country americana with a blistering four-piece band – a must for fans of Lucinda Williams, John Prine and Bonny Rait. Talent spotted by BBC Radio’s Bob Harris, she has performed at leading festivals – Take Root (Netherlands), Glasgow Americana Festival, Maverick (UK), Buscadero (Italy) NXNE and The Brooklyn Americana Fest. Sharing the bill with the likes of John Hiatt and Bon Iver, Annie has toured internationally in a dozen countries and in 2021 released a fifteen song tour de force – her 10th album “Bristol County Tides” – that shows her at the peak of her powers.

Support comes from the winner of the Whispering Bob Harris’ Emerging Artist Award at the 2021 UK Americana Awards – Demi Marriner!

We’re delighted to welcome The Chapin Sisters to Boro for an intimate gig at Base Camp on Wed 27 July. Masters of blood harmony, the siblings hail from a proud musical legacy which includes their Grammy award winning uncle Harry and father Tom. Lilting voices, complex vocal harmonies, and haunting folk-influenced melodies combine with a dark, lyrical content.

Joining them on the bill are The Ocelots, 24-year-old twins Brandon and Ashley Watson. Formerly based in Ireland, now in Leipzig, Germany, the brothers have crafted their songwriting and musical experience together to produce a forceful blend of rich harmonies and bare, raw acoustic folk. Their music perfectly embodies the breezy effortlessness of early Bob Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel and has earned them over 1.5 Million listens on Spotify.
