Frezz Lopez Bailando brings her international dance classes to our Warehouse every Monday and Wednesday, with a mix of salsa, merenge and burlesque to get you shaking your thing.
The music is loud, the vibe relaxed and the welcome warm. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before, Frezzie’s first language is dance, and she’ll help you find your very own groove.
Arriving in Middlesbrough from Costa Rica – with a decade long stop-over in New York City – Frezzie has taught literally thousands of classes over the last three decades – from Spain to America, and now – thankfully for us – on Teesside. Resident in Middlesbrough for the last 28 years, she is known and loved across the North East for her exuberant and exhilarating classes – if you loved this summer’s cinema smash In The Heights then she is definitely the teacher for you!
‘I am passionate about helping women feel the best they can be. You don’t have to be fit, you don’t have to have danced before, just come along and join in the fun. Come with a friend or come on your own. Everyone is so welcome and I guarantee you will leave feeling better than when you arrived. It has been such a long and difficult 18 months for everyone. As someone said after class yesterday thank you for making me lose myself in dance for an hour, and totally forget about anything else that’s going on in the world.
Classes are just a fiver and run from 6 – 6.45pm every Monday and Wednesday at Base Camp. To sign up, contact Frezz at https://www.facebook.com/Chica666
See you on the dance floor!
